Abstract

A. LARGE AND MEDIUM MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES (IBS)

• Growth in production in large and medium manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province fell in the third quarter of 2019 amounting to 22.21 percent (y-on-y) in the third quarter of 2018, while the national experienced positive growth of 4.35 percent.

• Growth in production in large and medium manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2019 increased amounting to 23.98 percent (q-to-q) in the second quarter of 2019 and national also experienced positive growth of 5.13 percent.

B. MICRO AND SMALL MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY (IMK)

• Growth in production of micro and small manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2019 increased by 15.91 percent (y-on-y) in the third quarter of 2018, nationally also experienced positive growth of 6.19 percent.

• Growth in production of micro and small manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province in the third quarter of 2019 increased by 7.51 percent (q-to-q) in the second quarter of 2019, meanwhile Nationally also experienced positive growth of 0.29 percent.
