Abstract

A. LARGE AND MEDIUM MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES (IBS)

• Growth in production in large and medium manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province fell in the second quarter of 2019 amounting to -21.61 percent (y-on-y) in the second quarter of 2018, while the national experienced positive growth of 3.62 percent.

• Growth in production in large and medium manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province fell in the second quarter of 2019 amounting to 4.37 percent (q-to-q) in the first quarter of 2019 and national also experienced negative growth of 1.91 percent. B. MICRO AND SMALL MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY (IMK)

• Growth in production of micro and small manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province in the second quarter of 2019 increased by 0.83 percent (y-on-y) in the second quarter of 2018, national also experienced positive growth of 5.52 percent.

• Growth in production of micro and small manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province fell in the second quarter of 2019 of 6.13 percent (q-to-q) in the first quarter of 2019, while the national experienced positive growth of 0.24 percent.
