Abstract

A. LARGE AND MEDIUM MANUFACTURING INDUSTRIES (IBS)

• Growth in production in large and medium manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province in the first quarter of 2019 fell by 10.42 percent (y-on-y) in the first quarter of 2018, meanwhile Nationally experienced positive growth of 4.45 percent.

• Growth in production in large and medium manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province fell in the first quarter of 2019 Amounting to 14.29 percent (q-to-q) in the fourth quarter of 2018, while the national experienced positive growth of 0.61 percent. B. MICRO AND SMALL MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY (IMK)

• Growth in production of micro and small manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province in the first quarter of 2019 increased by 13.49 percent (y-on-y) in the first quarter of 2018, nationally Also experienced positive growth of 6.88 percent.

• Growth in production of micro and small manufacturing industries West Sumatra Province in the first quarter of 2019 increased by 9.16 percent (q-to-q) in the fourth quarter of 2018, nationally Also experienced positive growth of 4.55 percent.
