million, there was an increase of 3.72 percent compared to exports
May 2019.
• Cumulatively, West Sumatra exports January-June 2019
reached US$609.17 million or decreased by 21.20 percent
compared to the same period the previous year.
• The largest category of export goods in June 2019
are animal/vegetable fats & oils amounting to US$ 79.02 million,
followed by the rubber group and rubber goods of
US$18.68 million.
• Exports to the United States play a large role
21.68 percent of the total exports of West Sumatra and India
20.16 percent in January-June 2019.
• By sector, exports of processing industry products in June
2019 experienced an increase of 4.72 percent compared to
export May 2019.
• Value of exports of goods originating from West Sumatra Province
which was sent through several ports in Indonesia in June
2019 recorded US$105.71 million, an increase of 7.50 percent compared to exports
May 2019.
• Cumulatively the value of exports of goods originating from Sumatra
West January-June 2019 reached US$625.66 million or decreased
amounted to 17.39 percent compared to the same period last year
previously.
