million, there was an increase of 1.06 percent compared to exports
June 2019.
• Cumulatively, West Sumatra exports January-July 2019
reached US$714.44 million or decreased by 22.89 percent
compared to the same period the previous year.
• The largest categories of export goods in July 2019 were
animal/vegetable fats & oils of US$68.10 million, followed
by the rubber and rubber goods category amounting to US$21.38
million.
• Exports to the United States play a big role
21.48 percent of the total exports of West Sumatra and India
20.59 percent in January-July 2019.
• By sector, exports of processing industry products in July
2019 experienced a decrease of 3.02 percent compared to
Export June 2019.
• Value of exports of goods originating from West Sumatra Province
which was sent through several ports in Indonesia in July
2019 was recorded at US$111.88 million, an increase of 5.84 percent compared to exports
June 2019.
• Cumulatively the value of exports of goods originating from Sumatra
West January-July 2019 reached US$737.54 million or decreased
amounted to 19.42 percent compared to the same period last year
previously.
