compared to the same period the previous year.
• The largest category of export goods in March 2019
are animal/vegetable fats & oils amounting to US$93.49 million,
followed by the rubber group and rubber goods of
US$15.34 million.
• Exports to India contributed 22.06
percent of total exports from West Sumatra and America
States 20.01 percent in January-March 2019.
• By sector, exports of processing industry products in March
2019 experienced an increase of 28.94 percent compared to
Export February 2019.
• Value of exports of goods originating from West Sumatra Province
which was sent through several ports in Indonesia on
March 2019 recorded US$121.12 million, an increase of 19.84 percent compared to
Exports in February 2019.
• Cumulatively the value of exports of goods originating from Sumatra
West January-March 2019 reached US$316.24 million or decreased
amounting to 23.28 percent compared to the same period last year
previously.
