Abstract

• West Sumatra's export value in December 2018 reached US$113.36 million, a decrease of 13.14 percent Compared to exports in November 2018.

• Cumulatively, West Sumatra exports January-December 2018 reached US$1,595.01 million or a decrease of 22.05 percent compared to the same period the previous year.

• Most exported goods categories in December 2018 Large is animal/vegetable fats & oils amounting to US$85.97 million, followed by the rubber and rubber goods category of US$19.26 million.

• Exports to India play a role of 27.51 percent of total exports from West Sumatra and America Union 24.64 percent in January-December 2018.

• By sector, exports of processing industry products month December 2018 experienced a decrease of 10.70 percent Compared to November 2018 exports.

• Value of exports of goods originating from West Sumatra Province which was sent through several ports in Indonesia on December 2018 was recorded at US$114.90 million, down 15.09 percent Compared to exports in November 2018.

• Cumulatively the value of exports of goods originating from Sumatra West January-December 2018 reached US$1,590.42 million or decreased by 16.31 percent compared to the same period previous year.
