West Sumatra as measured by the Gini Ratio is 0.305.
This figure decreased by 0.016 points when compared to Gini
The ratio in March 2018 was 0.321. Meanwhile, if compared
with the September 2017 Gini Ratio (0.312), a significant decline was recorded
smaller, by 0.007 points.
• The Gini Ratio in urban areas in September 2018 was recorded at
0.308, down 0.030 points compared to the March Gini Ratio
2018 which was 0.338. Compared to the Gini Ratio a year
previously, a smaller decline (0.001 points) was recorded viz
at 0.309 in September 2017.
• Meanwhile, the Gini Ratio in rural areas in September 2018
recorded at 0.262, or a decrease of 0.018 points compared to the figure
March 2018, and fell more sharply by 0.026 points against the Gini
The September 2017 ratio was recorded at 0.288.
• In September 2018, expenditure distribution in groups of 40
the lowest percent was 21.66 percent. This means expenditure
