Abstract

• Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who come to Sumatra West via Minangkabau International Airport (BIM) month September 2019 reached 4,435 people, a decrease of 25.90 percent compared to foreign tourists in August 2019 which was recorded at 5,985 person. • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in West Sumatra in September 2019 it reached an average of 53.95 percent; experience a decrease of 0.74 points compared to the ROR in August 2019 of 54.69 percent.

• Average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at the hotel stars in September 2019 were recorded for 1.54 days; down 0.28 days when compared to August 2019 which was recorded at 1.82 days.

• Number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Minangkabau International Airport in September 2019 decreased by 10.93 percent compared to the previous month. Amount international air transportation passengers departing from BIM experienced an increase of 0.92 percent compared to month previously.

• Number of domestic air passengers arriving at BIM on September 2019 fell by 9.83 percent compared to last month previously. And international air transport passengers who arrive in BIM also decreased by 33.46 percent compared previous month.

• Number of goods transported via domestic sea transportation West Sumatra in September 2019 experienced an increase by 3.51 percent compared to the previous month.
