Abstract

• Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who come to Sumatra West via Minangkabau International Airport (BIM) in October 2019 reached 5,276 people, an increase of 18.96 percent compared to September 2019 which was recorded as 4,435 foreign tourists.

• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in West Sumatra in October 2019 it reached an average of 59.45 percent; experience an increase of 5.50 points compared to the ROR in September 2019 of 53.95 percent.

• Average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at the hotel stars in October 2019 were recorded for 1.68 days; up 0.14 days when compared to September 2019 which was recorded at 1.54 days.

• Number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Minangkabau International Airport in October 2019 an increase of 4.53 percent compared to the previous month. Amount international air transport passengers departing from BIM experienced an increase of 11.40 percent compared to last month previously.

• Number of domestic air passengers arriving at BIM on October 2019 rose by 6.89 percent compared to last month previously. And international air transport passengers who arrive in BIM also experienced an increase of 19.49 percent compared previous month.

• Number of goods transported via domestic sea transportation West Sumatra in October 2019 experienced a decline by 0.28 percent compared to the previous month.
