Abstract

• Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who come to Sumatra West via Minangkabau International Airport (BIM) in March 2019 reached 6,220 people, an increase of 20.66 percent Compared to February 2019, there were 5,155 foreign tourists.

• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in West Sumatra March 2019 reached an average of 57.34 percent; experience an increase of 4.23 points compared to the ROR in February 2019 of 53.11 percent.

• Average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at the hotel Starry in March 2019 was recorded for 1.48 days; up 0.10 days When compared with February 2019 which was recorded at 1.38 days.

• Number of departing domestic air passengers from Minangkabau International Airport in March 2019 an increase of 9.60 percent compared to the previous month. Amount international air transport passengers departing from BIM slightly increased by 12.31 percent compared previous month.

• Number of domestic air transportation passengers arriving at BIM In March 2019 it increased by 9.45 percent compared to the month previously. And international air transport passengers arrivals at BIM also experienced an increase, amounting to 20.20 percent compared to the previous month.

• Number of goods transported via domestic sea transportation West Sumatra in March 2019 experienced a decrease of 33.71 percent compared to the previous month.
