Abstract

• Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who come to Sumatra West via Minangkabau International Airport (BIM) in January 2019 reached 4,052 people, a decrease of 15.60 percent Compared to December 2018, there were 4,801 foreign tourists.

• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in West Sumatra in January 2019 it reached an average of 46.14 percent; experience a decrease of 12.45 points compared to the ROR in December 2018 of 58.59 percent.

• Average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at the hotel Starry in January 2019 was recorded for 1.53 days; up 0.17 days When compared with December 2018 which was recorded at 1.36 days.

• Number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Minangkabau International Airport in January 2019 went down amounted to 15.21 percent compared to the previous month. Amount international air transport passengers departing from BIM also experienced a decrease of 11.40 percent compared to month previously.

• Number of domestic air passengers arriving at BIM on January 2019 fell by 20.05 percent compared to last month previously. Meanwhile, international air transport passengers Those coming to BIM also increased by 25.41 percent compared to the previous month.

• Number of goods transported by sea transportation within Sumatra West in January 2019 experienced a decrease of 0.28 Percent compared to the previous month.
