Abstract

• Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who come to Sumatra West via Minangkabau International Airport (BIM) in May 2019 reached 3,582 people, a decrease of 34.53 percent compared to In April 2019, there were 5,471 foreign tourists recorded.

• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in West Sumatra in May 2019 it reached an average of 34.57 percent; decrease 21.65 points compared to the ROR in April 2019 of 56.22 percent.

• Average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at the hotel stars in May 2019 were recorded for 1.55 days; rose 0.13 days if compared to April 2019 which was recorded at 1.42 days.

• Number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Minangkabau International Airport in May 2019 fell by 27.34 percent compared to the previous month. Total passenger International air freight departing from BIM experiences a decrease of 34.46 percent compared to the previous month.

• Number of domestic air passengers arriving at BIM in May 2019 it rose by 1.88 percent compared to last month previously. And international air transport passengers who arrive in BIM also decreased, amounting to 23.24 percent compared previous month.

• Number of goods transported via domestic sea transportation West Sumatra in May 2019 experienced a decrease of 12.47 percent compared to the previous month.
