Abstract

• Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who come to Sumatra West via Minangkabau International Airport (BIM) in April 2019 reached 5,471 people, a decrease of 12.04 percent Compared to March 2019, there were 6,220 foreign tourists.

• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Sumatra West in April 2019 reached an average of 56.22 percent; experience a decrease of 1.12 points compared to the ROR in March 2019 of 57.34 percent.

• Average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at the hotel Starry in April 2019 was recorded for 1.42 days; down 0.06 days When compared with March 2019 which was recorded at 1.48 days.

• Number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Minangkabau International Airport in April 2019 fell by 8.81 percent compared to the previous month. Total passenger International air freight departing from BIM experiences a decrease of 21.80 percent compared to the previous month.

• Number of domestic air transportation passengers arriving at BIM In April 2019 it fell by 9.52 percent compared to the month previously. And international air transport passengers who arrive in BIM also decreased, amounting to 16.82 percent compared previous month.

• Number of goods transported via domestic sea transportation West Sumatra in April 2019 experienced an increase of 9.52 percent compared to the previous month.
