Abstract

• Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who come to Sumatra West via Minangkabau International Airport (BIM) in February 2019 reached 5,155 people, an increase of 13.70 percent Compared to January 2019, there were 4,534 foreign tourists.

• Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in West Sumatra in February 2019 it reached an average of 53.11 percent; experience an increase of 7.03 points compared to the ROR in January 2019 of 46.08 percent.

• Average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at the hotel Starry in February 2019 was recorded for 1.38 days; down 0.04 Days compared to January 2019 which was recorded at 1.42 days.

• Number of domestic air transportation passengers departing from Minangkabau International Airport in February 2019 went down amounted to 19.93 percent compared to the previous month. Whereas number of international air transport passengers departing from BIM experienced a slight increase, namely increasing by 0.17 percent Compared to the previous month.

• Number of domestic air passengers arriving at BIM in February 2019 it fell by 17.30 percent compared previous month. And international air transport passengers those coming to BIM also experienced a decline, amounting to 16.87 percent compared to the previous month.

• Number of goods transported by sea transportation within Sumatra West in February 2019 experienced an increase of 3.79 Percent compared to the previous month.
