Abstract

Sumatera Barat NTP in December 2024 was 132.16 or an increase of 2.17 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) of 2.75 percent, greater than the increase in the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) of 0.57 percent.
In December 2024, the NTP of each subsector was recorded at 102.96 for the food crops subsector (NTPP), 134.81 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 174.74 for the people's plantation subsector (NTPR), 108.27 for the livestock subsector (NTPT), and 94.56 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTPs of 97.74 and 92.14 respectively.
In December 2024, the average price of GKP quality grain at the farmer level decreased by 2.57 percent from IDR 7,454.91 per kg (November 2024) to IDR 7,263.41 per kg (December 2024).
