Abstract

• Number of foreign tourists (tourists) who come to Sumatra West via Minangkabau International Airport (BIM) month December 2018 reached 4,801 people, a decrease of 6.19 percent compared to November 2018 which was recorded as many foreign tourists 5,118 people. • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in West Sumatra in December 2018 it reached an average of 58.59 percent; experience a decrease of 6.76 points compared to the TPK in November 2018 of 65.35percent. • Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for other accommodation in West Sumatra in December 2018 it reached an average of 34.39 percent; experience an increase of 2.15 points compared to November 2018 of 32.24 percent. • Average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at the hotel stars in December 2018 were recorded for 1.36 days; down 0.19 days when compared to November 2018 recorded 1.55 days. • Average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at accommodation Others in December 2018 were recorded for 1.29 days; down 0.10 days when compared with November 2018 which was recorded at 1.39 days. • Number of domestic air transportation passengers at international airports Minangkabau in December 2018 fell by 0.05 percent compared to the previous month. Number of transport passengers international air increased by 25.26 percent compared to the previous month. • Number of goods transported by domestic sea transportation West Sumatra in December 2018 experienced an increase by 7.32 percent compared to the previous month.
