Abstract

  • The value of exports originating from Sumatera Barat in September 2024 was US$135.59 million, a decrease of 43.72 percent compared to exports in August 2024. 
  • The most exported category of goods in September 2024 was animal/vegetable fats & oils (HS 15) amounting to US$93.81 million, followed by the rubber and rubber goods category (HS 40) amounting to US$11.64 million, and the various chemical products category (HS 38) amounting to US$8.13 million. 
  • The import value of Sumatera Barat in September 2024 was US$41.36 million, a decrease of 5.07 percent compared to imports in August 2024. 
  • The largest category of imported goods in September 2024 was mineral fuel (HS 27) amounting to US$27.07 million
