Abstract

West Sumatra's NTP in November 2020 was recorded at 101.95 or an increase of 1.01 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 100.94 (October 2020).
The price index received by farmers (It) increased by 1.41 percent and the price index paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.40 percent.
In November 2020, the NTP for each subsector was recorded at 95.42 for the food crops subsector (NTPP), 97.22 for the horticulture subsector (NTPH), 111.82 for the smallholder plantation crops subsector (NTPR), 104.54 for the livestock subsector ( NTPT), and 94.05 for the fisheries subsector (NTPN). The fisheries subsector is divided into two, namely the capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors with NTP of 100.83 and 88.92 respectively.
In November 2020 the average price of GKP quality grain at the farmer level decreased by 1.34 percent from IDR 5,290.96 per kg (October 2020) to IDR 5,220.14 per kg (November 2020), and at the milling level it decreased by 1.44 percent from IDR 5,409.10 per kg (October 2020) to IDR 5,331.22 per kg (November 2020).
