Abstract

• The export value of West Sumatra in April 2020 reached US $ 94.13

million, a decrease of 33.15 percent compared to exports

March 2020.

• Cumulatively, West Sumatra exports from January to April 2020

reached US $ 478.05 million or an increase of 18.16 percent

compared to the same period the previous year.

• The largest category of export goods in April 2020

is animal / vegetable fats & oils of US $ 65.66 million,

followed by rubber groups and rubber goods

US $ 13.88 million.

• Exports to India provide a role of 28.53

percent of the total exports of West Sumatra and America

States 20.01 percent in January-April 2020.

• By sector, exports of processing industry products in April

2020 decreased by 34.40 percent compared

export March 2020.

• Value of export goods from West Sumatra Province

which was sent through several ports in Indonesia at

April 2020 recorded US $ 98.72 million, down 31.93 percent compared

export in March 2020.

• Cumulatively the value of exports of goods originating from Sumatra

West January-April 2020 reached US $ 496.52 million or up

by 17.77 percent compared to the same period of the year

previous.
